About Octap
Octap is a hospitality POS platform for restaurants and hotels in India and UAE. We help operators connect menus, orders, payments, kitchen workflows, and reporting in one system built for real service conditions.
Octap began with a simple observation: hospitality teams were being asked to deliver faster service with tools that did not talk to each other. Restaurants had one system for billing, another for menus, another for payment reconciliation, and too many manual workarounds during peak hours. Hotels had the added pressure of multiple outlets, room service, banquet needs, and leadership reporting across properties.
We built Octap to make that operating layer calmer. QR menus are part of the product, but they are not the whole story. A QR menu only becomes valuable when it is connected to live item availability, order routing, kitchen tickets, payments, staff permissions, and reports. That is why Octap is positioned as a full hospitality POS, not a QR-menu generator.
Built For Operators In India And UAE
Our primary users are restaurant owners, hotel F&B managers, outlet managers, cashiers, captains, and kitchen teams. They do not need abstract software promises. They need a system that works during a Friday dinner rush, a crowded Sunday brunch, a room-service spike, or a multi-outlet reporting review.
India and UAE shape how we build. Operators need UPI and card-aware payment flows, GST-ready billing in India, clean settlement visibility, multilingual and dietary menu clarity, and flexible service modes across dine-in, takeaway, delivery, room service, and hotel outlets. Octap is designed around those daily realities for restaurant teams and hotel F&B operators.
What We Solve
Octap brings the core hospitality platform workflow into one place:
- Digital QR menus that stay connected to POS menu data.
- Order management for dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and hotel service modes.
- Kitchen and receipt workflows that reduce manual handoffs.
- Real-time analytics for sales, item mix, peak hours, and payments.
- Multi-platform access for teams that work across counters, floors, and management desks.
- Human support for setup, onboarding, and operational questions.
This connected approach matters because disconnected tools create small failures that guests feel: unavailable items still visible on the menu, modifiers lost between table and kitchen, bills that need correction, and end-of-day reports that do not match payments. Octap is built to reduce those gaps before they become service problems.
The Company Behind Octap
Octap is developed and operated by OctopusCo Soft Solutions Private Limited, a SaaS product company founded in April 2023 and headquartered in Delhi, India. The company focuses on practical, scalable software for real-world hospitality businesses, with a product philosophy shaped by operator clarity rather than feature noise.
Our team combines engineering, product, sales, and customer operations. We work closely with restaurants and hotels so the product reflects floor-level needs: fast onboarding, understandable controls, stable workflows, and reports owners can actually use.
Leadership
Suprem leads product, technology, company vision, hiring, and customer experience. His background across Flutter, iOS, and backend systems helps Octap balance technical depth with the practical expectations of hospitality operators.
Kunal leads business operations, sales, partnerships, and customer relationships. His focus is making Octap useful in the field: easier onboarding, clearer communication, and long-term support for operators who depend on the system every day.
Why We Exist
Hospitality is still human. Software should not make restaurants colder or hotels more mechanical. The right system should remove repetitive work so staff can spend more time welcoming guests, recommending dishes, checking service quality, and recovering issues quickly.
That is the company we are building: a reliable hospitality POS for teams that want modern operations without losing the care that guests remember.
